AOTY (so far - come on War On Drugs, you can beat this!)
A couple of tracks I definitely think could have been left out (cough - tracks 9 and 11 - cough), but the high points are so high and the album as a whole is beautiful, so I'm willing to overlook them.

I've never really been able to get into Wolf Alice before, so this was a really nice surprise.

Progression, maturity, evolution and all that is great, but not so much when you just really REALLY want to hear another album like Plowing Into the Field of Love.

I thought it might be like those tracks he occasionally does with Diplo or Chance the Rapper or whoever, but no, it was just cheesy pop crooning.
I like the music and I like the whole vibe, but I'd prefer to hear singing than spoken word.
Such a random album for AOTY to fawn over. Does this guy have some obscure link to King Crule, Phil Elverum or Run The Jewels that I don't know about? Or is it just because he went to Goldsmiths?
