I don't know if it is the terrible vocal processing or the clunky beats in every song, but this is a pretty bland mini-album. Kang Daniel just doesn't have the voice to really put much life into the songs and any semblance of emotion is blockaded by strange autotune choices. Considering this is the group's second full length album almost ten years into their career, this is a really disappointing release. It sounds like something NU'EST would do but also completely uninspired at the same time. The first five tracks are sung by the whole group and they all sound like offshoots of their previous releases and releases from other groups. If there weren't already a slew of "frankenstein" songs released prior to this that were better, I would say that it would be an interesting idea, but it certainly isn't next level. Besides the obnoxious talk-singing parts, the song actually has some gorgeous melodic points like the soaring vocal moments and the slick rap portion. It's such a shame that the song is surrounded by such uninspired momentum.
It's more interesting than their last few title tracks, but it still lacks focus and sounds more like an album filler. The build-up is fun and the arrangement has some great moments. However, the chorus just cuts into that momentum and sounds like a bunch of bubbles.
