Kill Bill: The Rapper - I THINK I FOUND THE END
86

OH SHIT MAN, WHAT A CRAZY COVER!

I just finished my first listen, and I was really impressed. First of all, Kill Bill proves once again that his flow and creative lyricism are some of the best right now.

This album suffers from the same problems as the other: the feature list. The best one was Rav in Animidnight, but everyone that pops into a Kill Bill album gets outshone by his INSANE skills and unique voice.

The production is heavenly; the lofi/cloud hip-hop beats contrast so well with his ... read more

Quadeca - Vanisher, Horizon Scraper
89

Quadeca came up with a VERY layered and unique production on this album; it can get a little overwhelming sometimes. But man, I would never expect this coming from the same guy that dissed KSI and made FIFA videos.

Quadeca - Dark Magic
79

Man, I really want to see this noise rock sound coming from Quadeca again.

If his goal was making catchy music, he nailed it.

Car Seat Headrest - Teens of Denial

cosmic hero is mind blowing

Arcade Fire - Funeral

Perfect record from start to finish, it's SOO dramatic, and I love it. Win's vocals are kind of shaky, but that just makes the atmosphere even better; it puts emphasis on the emotions. The instrumentation is just flawless, one of the best instrumentations of all time; every single note and string hit just ascends you to heaven.

Father John Misty - The Payoff
90

This guy still has a lot to show even after a masterpiece like Mahashmashana. I hope he can keep up with this level of quality.

Black Country, New Road - Ants From Up There
100

This is a top 10 album from AOT.

Isaac had everything to be the next big thing; that's undeniable. He had such sharp lyricism and unsettling vocals that brought so much to the tense and anxious atmosphere his songs provided.

The Strokes - Falling out of Love

"Autotune, please, Fab" turned reality. :(

This song had everything to be good, but once again this dogshit autotune ruins everything. At this point I will be expecting a Charlie XCX and Jane Remover feature on this album because, oh my god, what a horrible direction they are heading towards.

This album is mathematically 20% ass; 2 out of 9 songs are horrible, so do not expect anything from it.

目黒将司 [Shoji Meguro] - Never More: Reincarnation: Persona 4

Top 3 OST of all, time.
Every single song is filled and overflowing with diferent emotions at such a high level and all of that is being done at the highest level possible, the vocals are just very great but gets outshined by the heavenly production and instrumentation that brings such a peace to the mind, there words to describe how awsome of a experience is listening to these songs they are so unique , and dramatic.
some of these songs like the seventh track remenber me a little bit of ... read more

The MOST uplifting album ever

My New Band Believe - My New Band Believe
83

I was expecting an AOTY-level album, but they delivered just a mid-to-good album. I mean, the highs are INSANE: Pearl's, Actress, and Target Practice are SO PEAK, but the rest is forgettable.

The Strokes - Going Shopping

bro thinks he is charlie xcx

North West - N0rth4evr

I'm not giving it a 0 because it made me laugh a lot with one of my friends, so yeah, DO NOT listen to it.
It's horrible but so funny. XD

Magdalena Bay - Imaginal Disk
93

This album is almost flawless in every single aspect. I mean, Matthew's instrumentations are SO atmospheric and unique. I mean, there are tons of different instruments, and it sounds so cohesive and so good, and Mica's vocals are angelic and her writing is majestic. In my opinion, what makes this album that good is how different and yet similar it is. Just hear the differences between "Killing Time" and "Image."

Please, if you have the chance, listen to it.

Fontaines D.C. - Romance

AOTY 2024, for the first time, the critics were right. The album starts with a darker and more tense atmosphere but ends on such a sweet note with "Favourite" (BEST SONG BY A MILE). Every single song is so well written, and Grian's vocals are so distinct and full of personality. Every song brings something new to the table, and every time I listen to this album, it grows on me. If you have the time, PLEASE LISTEN TO IT. "Favourite" might be a contender for song of the ... read more

Kanye West - BULLY

Kinda mid; at least he proved that he can still make music and not just a bunch of unlistenable garbage. Everyone can listen and see that the no-AI allegations were fake, and for some reason in the middle of a song this guy forgets that he is a billionaire and starts recording vocals on an iPhone 6.

The production is peak, but I can't say the same for the vocals. All the vocals in the ENTIRE ALBUM (except for the Andre Troutman vocals in Highs and Lows) are horrible and soulless; most of ... read more

Gorillaz - Plastic Beach
55

With this record, Gorillaz came up with a very bold concept that aged like wine about consumerism, buying, discarding, and polluting the environment (this is the best aspect about this album btw)

But in my opinion, sonically, is where everything falls apart, even though they were very smart bringing some of the best lyricists of the rap scene. The chemistry between the electropop beats and flows and the way the themes were explored were at best mediocre with a lot of inconsistencies. You could ... read more
