Some good ideas, some bad ideas, some weren't raised in the hood and it shows. I also have weird nostalgia for this album so I might be biased.

I love this but it adopts a more mainstream sound which hits and misses for me. Incredible writing as always though.

Edit: I don't know why I returned to this album but it resonated more with me than my first listen. God Is Really Real in particular made me emotional, taking me back to my own father's experience with cancer, and the toll it takes on a family is shown very well and respectfully in that song.
