Blu & Exile - Below the Heavens
87

A very enjoyable experience from top to bottom, listening to this will make you levitate so you too can be just below the heavens.

Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp a Butterfly
100

A straight masterpiece, it has it all, bars, production, cohesion, consistency, quality, and meaning. The greatest concept an album has ever had, and maybe will ever have.

Kendrick Lamar - untitled unmastered.
78

Good stuff, but is it an entire album or anything, not really, a good way for you to release stuff like this, but not usual Kendrick quality.

Rereview—Ok it’s unorthodox, but in every song you can here lots of hunger and quality, I had this as a 68, it’s now a 78

Dr. Dre - 2001
90

A great album after his falling out with Death Row, helped get Aftermath really on the ground, and set the stage for legends like Eminem and 50. Usual amazing Dre beats, and great lyricism and consistency across the entire project.

Pusha T - It's Almost Dry
90

Pusha T found a way to keep his career going as he aged, and this is the finest representation of how. Phenomenal production, Great lyrical performances, arguably better than Hell Hath No Fury.

Freddie Gibbs & Madlib - Bandana
90

A worthy sequel to Piñata, great features and production, about what you expect from a prolific duo like Madgibbs.

Tyler, The Creator - DON'T TAP THE GLASS
72

A great album, but about as far as you can get with a Tyler dance- like album.

Frank Ocean - channel ORANGE
79

Lots of good stuff on here, just not my favorite genre, but good stuff. Good features, decent production, great debut for Frank Ocean.

Frank Ocean - Blonde
79

VERY Overrated, but still a good project, nice to see Frank develop his sound more.

Black Milk - Tronic
73

Does it live up to The Chronic? No. Is it a good project nonetheless? Yes.

Incubus - Make Yourself
100

Incubus’ “Make Yourself” defined the late 90’s-early-mid 00’s rock scene, Incubus’ signature sound is on full display here, with banger after banger, an amazing project that should never be forgotten despite rocks mainstream decline over the past decade or so. Battlestar Scralatchtica is in the 60’s on here but I think that’s an 8.5/10 song. It’s definitely the lowest in a room full of absolute classics, this album btw is a classic, and it ... read more

IDK - e.t.d.s. A Mixtape by .idk.
79

A good mixtape for one of hip-hop’s underrated, great features and performances.

A$AP Rocky - Don't Be Dumb
85

A great comeback for Rocky after not dropping a project for almost 8 years, great production, nice to see that Rocky interacted with some of his old producers and friends. Favorite song has to be Whiskey, excited to see a deluxe version may be in the works.

KIDS SEE GHOSTS - KIDS SEE GHOSTS
95

Kids see Ghosts has the greatest chemistry we have ever seen between 2 distinguished artists, great production and lyrical performances, a true masterpiece of Kanye and Cudi.

A Tribe Called Quest - We got it from Here... Thank You 4 Your service
89

ATCQ mourns one of their own, but it is almost celebratory, they are commemorating the life of one of their best friends, and the project truly does Phife Dawg justice.

Freddie Gibbs & Madlib - Piñata
94

A recipe for success, the greatest producer with one of the greatest rappers, and their chemistry is almost unmatched, with it being on the level of producer rapper duos like OutKast and Mobb Deep.

Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
96

Almost every song is perfect 10/10 and the couple that aren’t are 9/10. Kanye’s best project to this day, and I don’t think he’ll be able to top it. Ever.

A$AP Rocky - TESTING
75

Broooo if Brotha Man and calldrops weren’t on here this would be a 85 at least. Rocky’s worst project,(yes DBD is better) but that is because all of his other projects are some of the greatest out there, a cool switch to experimental rap from his more traditional style, it’s executed well, but is held back by some strange and lackluster performances. (Looking at you French Montana and Kodak)

Jaylib - Champion Sound
96

2 of the greatest producers ever teamed up to create an album, it sounds amazing, and it was, the production was heavenly, but having the 2 test their skills lyrically was a gamble, and it kind’ve worked, better than what I would have expected from them, but still holds the project back from being perfect. Still one of my favorites nonetheless. Champion Sound is my champion, the drums are great, perfectly fitting the rest of the beat. As you’d expect, some of the best production ... read more

Main Attrakionz - 808s & Dark Grapes II
95

The best example of underground rap we’ve ever seen, Main Attrakionz shows just how good the underground scene is. The only problem is the production is so good, the vocals almost get drowned out, but that’s kind of the underground style. The sound is so futuristic and ahead of its time, even today it is still one step ahead.
