Drake - Scorpion

I stayed up until 3am for this shit, and while I did dig some tracks on it, it was a STRUGGLE to stay awake for almost all of this. Not to say that all the tracks on this are bad, there are definitely some great ones, but the tracks that are good have already been out for months. The songs that go for a more aggressive edge end up sounding hilarious because Drake does NOT sound tough, at all. Some of beats are solid on this side, it's just Drake having either very annoying, or just plain hilarious vocal deliveries ruining most of the songs. VERY boring flows. Also, the lyrics are like ??? what the fuck are you crying about AUBREY? Do you think this is important to talk about AUBREY? So many hypocritical, over dramatic, stupid topics that Drake should not talk about, and when he does address something important (his kid), he comes up with a very stupid response.

Best Tracks (Side A) : Elevate, God's Plan, and Talk Up

I remember hearing that the B side was going to be primarily R&B, and I was excited because most of my favorite Drake songs were in that style, but little did I know, that I was in for the most excruciatingly boring, awful, songs of Drake's career. There are some good songs on here, sadly one of the best tracks here is Nice for What, I LOVE that song, but man it's been out for a while and its been bumped a ton already so, whatever. First of all before we address the bad songs, Drake, you can sing, why put on a ton of auto tune to make it sound horrible? Literally makes the songs worse. These lyrics suck, the song compositions are boring and uneventful, and that starts right away with Peak. Summer Games is uneventful, talking about what you'd expect, a girl, in the summer. You can apply what I just said about those two songs to almost every song on here. Ratchet Happy Birthday, is one of the worst songs, I've heard all year. Also, that forced MJ sample?? What were you thinking???

Best Tracks (Side B): Nice for What, Blue Tint, and March 14

Whatever, I am just so done with this dude, and what is even more annoying is that people give this guy a pass on this album because there are 4 tracks that bump. Literally if this was anyone else that released this, or views, or more life, or anything else, they would be cancelled (because they all are mediocre or much worse).
He does get personal, but on topics that he shouldn't talk about anymore, especially after the kid and Pusha beef, because he just sounds like a dick, and blaming everyone else for what has happened in the past few weeks.

So, I feel like the question is answered. Is There More? If it sounds like this boring, painfully mediocre album, I hope not.
