oldest review: still a very fun record
this is my third time reviewing this album. when I first heard this, I was just hearing Carti for the first time and still wasn't huge on his music, even if it was catchy. I feel like a lot of his material has grown on me, so I have an idea my opinion for this album will be different.

i would say this album is too conceptual for it's own good, but it's really executed in such a precise way that it's not for it's own good, it's just incredibly conceptual, and incredibly well put together. love it.
(my personal favorite part of this project is on Replica 2 starting around the 14 minute mark)

I wish I could score this higher, I just feel like many of the songs don't reach their full potential. the beats sound amazing at times, and theres some awesome flows, but with most tracks being under 2 minutes long, they just feel like previews.

"@Toxikwaltz18 If you've heard any AI music before it all has underlying common traits. The instrumental melodies are very rudimentary and generally fall in the same range sonically. The vocals sound horrific, over processed, and genuinely not even real. The lyrics are effectively what you'd expect a computer to say given the title of each track; also just exceptionally poor quality and a total lack of soul or creativity in any facet. It's very blatantly obviously AI and it will likely be removed from Spotify soon, as almost all of their other music has already been removed for being AI."
