if you looked up "mediocrity" in the dictionary, this album would be right there. the lyrics are awful and painfully generic but they think that they're doing something deep and edgy. girl you're not fooling anybody...boring album. next.

This really do be shaping up to be one of the most overrated albums of 2020, huh...It's fine...? There's not much else besides the lyrics to be crazy about.

Seeing all the hype that this album has received made me extremely nervous. How can an album actually be this good? SPOILER ALERT: THIS ALBUM IS THAT FUCKING GOOD. I was legitimately stunned at how fantastic this album was. Combining elements of dance, disco, bubblegum bass (à la Charli XCX), and pop, Dua Lipa creates one of the most cohesive pop albums I've heard in a while, and what will surely be probably the best pop album of 2020.
