it’s fun and it’s definitely a return to form for yachty. by far his best album since the first lil boat. for an album with 19 tracks, it really wasn’t a chore to get through and i had fun with it almost the entire time. the production reminds me of the first lil boat a lot, and yachty’s strange and awkward delivery that made his first album so great is prominent here, and somehow that’s both a good thing and a bad thing. sometimes it sounds good, on tracks like oprah’s bank account or lemon head, but sometimes it sounds pretty bad, like on tracks like westside (even though that song has some pretty funny lines). overall it’s a pretty good trap album with very good production and it gives me high hopes for future yachty albums. his best work in years
