It's easy to write off Die Lit on first listen. It's repetetiveness, simplicity and lyrics can be easily discarded as meaningless if you enter with that mindset. The Kick Inside was Kate Bush's first LP and serves as a tremendous stepping stone for what was to come in future Bush classics such as The Dreaming and Hounds of Love.
