This new Logic LP reminds me of my highschool essays - Rushed, confused, and lacking any central meaning.

Steve Lacy proves on his first EP that he is capable of making funky, fun, and accessible alt-RnB with major sing along qualities. Singles such as "Dark Red" and "Some" prove that Lacy is equipped to make hit-singles. Now with a Kendrick production credit under his belt, I am excited for the future of Steve Lacy.

Brash, loud, and more than likely unfinished. Though, it broke him through into the mainstream, and had a flow unique enough to spawn a Drake remake. Lyrically it brings nothing new to the table, but I'm happy more aggressive hip-hop made it's way into the mainstream; even if just for a moment.

the fact that this made people in the 60's so uncomfortable that they banned it from some stores is worthy of legend status alone.

oh yeah, the songs are good too

nothing unique about him that sets him apart. recycled flows, weak beats, pretentious lyrics. only positive here is that the production is half-decent.
