Speechless on first listen. Vince delivered a masterpiece. So much going on with this record, even if it can intentionally feel like it’s refraining from saying too much. Wow. This album hits such an effortless stride from Rewind on. I am so surprised by this record. Such charming and layered stoner noise pop that rewards on many listens with some nice details. Reminds me of when I first got into Crumb.
Oh look another rage weirdo putting out sloppy mid. This was a snooze fest of a concept album let alone a collection of singles.
Idk man, def didn’t expect to not vibe with this the way I have with his stuff since Veteran but something feels a bit off with this record. Dude needs to start trying to write differently, swear I heard “fucking on” or some variant of that in several songs WAYYYY too much compared to previous albums. Peggy’s weakest since Black Ben Carson, and by far his most incoherent rapping on a record. Not a single memorable track on here for me unfortunately which is shocking ... read more
