Speechless on first listen. Vince delivered a masterpiece. So much going on with this record, even if it can intentionally feel like it’s refraining from saying too much. Wow. This album hits such an effortless stride from Rewind on. I am so surprised by this record. Such charming and layered stoner noise pop that rewards on many listens with some nice details. Reminds me of when I first got into Crumb.
Oh look another rage weirdo putting out sloppy mid. This was a snooze fest of a concept album let alone a collection of singles.
Idk man, def didn’t expect to not vibe with this the way I have with his stuff since Veteran but something feels a bit off with this record. Dude needs to start trying to write differently, swear I heard “fucking on” or some variant of that in several songs WAYYYY too much compared to previous albums.
