really enjoy the sound on here, its super hard to pin down, and the vocals are heavenly. i think my issue is that the vocals switch from being audible, to difficult to understand, but its a lofi/indie style choice that i know some people enjoy. also i wish the ending part vocally was repeated more earlier because its definitely the catchiest part of the song!! overall, its not my favorite quedronol song, but its still great, and i cant wait for the full record!!
when monday dropped, I was pretty confident that it was better, but there's just something about this one!! the chorus is probably his best melody, and the sound is just so cozy and soft.
jane is back with genuinely one of the coolest, yet over produced songs she's made. felt like this style was better executed on magic i want u and some of her other recent singles. bit too over the top for me as of right now. maybe it'll grow on me, but feel like it tries too hard to be something.
phenomenal. kendrick brings to the table what hip-hop has been needing. fun bangers, with his standard amazing lyricism. a few songs fall flat for me, but hey now, reincarnated, and wacced out murals are some of my favorites this year. coming back to this one a lot.
wowwwww, i love this song, so pretty... the minimal but yet emotional guitar and subtle production elements fill the space so well. the vocals are so soft and this is exactly where i like qued's vocals to be. so tender and emotional, definitely going to be coming back to this one a lot during the winter.
This song is very cool. The textures and ambience feel very calculated for the most part, and it feels very grim. The progression of it is also super cool. The only issue I have (not too big a deal) is that the second half at times feels a bit forced, however the ending of the song makes up for it in a lot of ways. Also, I wish the vocals had a slightly more variation. All this to say, this may be one of the best songs I've heard from the scene so far.
Absolutely stunning production, and phenomenal vibes. Only issue is the ending feels a bit disjointed, but that doesn't stop the last drop from being fucking sick.
