The more I listen to this album the worse it gets, not joking.

I’m very perplexed with this album, one half of me likes it but the other just doesn’t. Like, there are a couple of really good songs that I agree sound great but some tracks just kind of fall short (mostly lyrically, but also sometimes they’re instrumentals are too boring or uninteresting). I’m gonna be honest, this album is teetering between 70 and the sixty range, I still can’t decide wether I like it enough to keep it at 70 or if I give it a 69 or 68. My main gripe with this album is mostly the second half, almost every track (except Calcium) just doesn’t hit for me, it sounds boring and kind of “boneless” you get me? Like that vibe of really clean vocals with this like blissful and cold sound just doesn’t hit on the second half as much as the first one, which kind of disappoints me.

I don’t hate Ecco2k, he’s probably my favorite out of drain gang (prolly because he’s really fucking hot) but the more I listen the more iffy the project gets, I’ve recently been gravitating to Bladee’s music more but that doesn’t mean I dislike Ecco, maybe it’s just that I’m getting tired of the aesthetic that this project has and should take a break from it. I don’t know man, but this project is pretty good if we’re looking at it through “new ears” (what I’m referring to is first listen), so maybe I’ll keep it at 70 (like my original rating after first listen)
