slayr - Half Blood (BloodLuxe)
91

Easily one of the greatest albums from this year, I loved almost every second of listening. The beats are so beautiful with the 8-bit / retro sound mixed with the rage aspect, chefs kiss. Slayr deserves all the love he is getting plus more for this deluxe that defines underground rap.

Thundercat - Distracted
70

Man I liked this more than I thought I would.
Its such a fun album with some huge names on it like Tame Impala, Mac Miller and even Rocky. Such a vibey album.

By Storm - My Ghosts Go Ghost
25

Idk what to say, I didnt like this. It had a very loud and glitchy but Melancholic sound to it which just didnt make sense? How does this have such a high score? Only song I somewhat like was the billy woods song

Concrete Boys - It's Us Vol. 2
70

This was way better than the first album with way more consistancy and huge bangers throughout.

75

So i never left my written review on this but gave it a score, here it is...

Such a career defining album with some of Kanyes best songs of the later 2010s. With so many styles in it, it is solid for the kanye standards

Concrete Boys - It's Us Vol. 1
55

Pretty basic rap group album, not really interesting with a few hits here and there. Also the sound isnt powerful and much upbeat so I fell asleep, TWICE, listening to this. Im glad they took Karrahboo off the next album cuz her voice is honestly bad and just ruins the songs she is on.

Kanye West - BULLY
82

Holy shit it actually dropped...
And its great but I want more, the songs felt incomplete and short with the track list coming in at only 42 minutes. Its definitely a shock to everybody that Kanye actually returned and brought that original sound back.

Chief Keef - Skeletor
50

Not interesting with some generic trap sound and no stand out tracks. Mid at best.

Fetty Wap - Zavier
72

Fetty Wap returns to bring back 2016 and he delivers a solid project with fun songs

Yeat - ADL
68

Yea I was incredibly disappointed in this because A Dangerous Summer was so fucking good, why couldn't this replicate that sound in any way?? This doesnt sound like any past yeat and sounds just like mainstream music and doesnt have anything special besides a few tracks. With the amount of promo and hype built around this album, its an underwhelming experience.

Future & Juice WRLD - Future & Juice WRLD Present... WRLD ON DRUGS
50

So apparently I never rated this even though I thought I did.
This project is the definition of mid. not amazing, but not horrible. Some songs are bangers but the hit to miss ratio is hella concerning from 2 highly praised artists.

Travis Scott - UTOPIA
65

Am I missing something?
Utopia doesnt meet the expectations I had set for a GRAMMY NOMINATED album. With over an hour of music and majority being ok songs i left disappointed.

The Scythe - Strictly 4 The Scythe
75

The first half is definitely stronger than the second half but still a great album with some bangers

Red Leather - TAHOE
85

This was such a great step from Reno even though like Reno, the tracklist was majority of the singles put out before the release. Red managed to curate the tracklist in a great order.
so many emotional tracks that are just beautiful to listen to. Can't wait to see what Red has in store for us next.

Linkin Park - From Zero
75

I held off on listening to this for a while but damn this album actually surprised me.
Emily does a very good job and fits well in the sound of the band. I personally dont like the songs where she is the main priority sound but she is still a very talented singer nonetheless.

Linkin Park - One More Light
30

Yea this was not it.
Popular Rock/Metal band Linkin Park goes into a weird Pop rock album that just does not sit right. With very few memorable tracks this was such a bad final album before Chester sadly passed away, May he rest easy 🙏

Yeat - AftërLyfe
75

Solid follow up to "Lyfe"
First half is definitely better than the second half.
Idk what else to say

Linkin Park - The Hunting Party
90

Wow, just wow.
This album is amazing and just full of anger almost sounding like an early "System of the Down" or "Three days grace" album. Such raw performance and amazing metal sound to this underrated album from Linkin Park.

Linkin Park - LIVING THINGS
85

This album almost had a flawless tracklist if it wasnt for the last 2 tracks. (Not including the interlude TINFOIL) I like the direction that Linkin Park is going by going back to what started their careers because after MTM I didnt know what to expect.

Linkin Park - A Thousand Suns
80

This was a great step up from minutes to midnight imo. They went back to their roots with a similar sound to Hybrid Theory if they just stay away from the unnecessary inturludes and keep the rock vibe clear throught it would be great. Such a great comeback though leaving me satisfied on my full catalog listen
