Lil Wayne - Funeral

While I enjoyed a lot of C5, it went on too long and had too many just ok or boring songs to really reach its potential. I was hoping this album could be less filler and more direct, but instead it goes in the opposite direction. There aren’t any excellent songs, just boring or ok ones paired with some enjoyable ones sprinkled in throughout the over an hour long tracklist. It’s just frustrating because unfortunately Wayne’s effort is minimal on this album. With mostly boring features, usually generic (but sometimes interesting) production, and nothing really interesting from Wayne, this album just ends up being pretty forgettable, even if there is the occasional enjoyable moment.
