Drake - Scary Hours 2

Drake has been inconsistent lately, and while I have hope for CLB I'm cautiously optimistic. While I thought Laugh Now, Cry Later might have been Drake's best single in a long time, his recent music and projects have just not been on the level I wanted them to be. So did he come through with some good tracks?

Well the EP didn't start off very strong. What the fuck is the beat in What's Next? The song wasn't terrible but it was really disappointing. Things picked up on Wants and Needs featuring Lil Baby, where the beat was better and I thought the song was just better written. It still wasn't great, but it was solid. But Lemon Pepper Freestyle is where he really delivered for me. The instrumental is great, and both him and Rick Ross come through with great verses. This is the kinda track I was hoping Drake would have delivered more of. Overall this batch of tracks wasn't his best and definitely has me a little worried for CLB, but I guess we'll see later this year.
