I have seen many people praise Aries’s music in the past, but I have never been all that impressed with it. I did enjoy the singles for this album though, so I was looking forward to this, and while it isn’t as good as I was hoping it could be, I do still like it quite a bit.
While I do still see some room for improvement here, I think that this album is a solid pop-rap album. The production is really good throughout, the songwriting is very catchy, and Aries has some solid performances. There are some really good highlights and I hear a lot of potential here. However, I do have some issues with the album. Aries is wearing his influences on his sleeve a lot, and there are many times where I feel like I’m listening to Post Malone. The album is also pretty one-dimensional and can be kinda bland at times, and the lyrics can be kinda cringey at times as well. Nevertheless, I do really like the music here though and am looking forward to new music in the future from Aries.
