One of the best album this decade and that I've heard in overall, the energic jazz abstract rap production is super inventive and McKinley Dixon flows perfectly on each of the tracks
Travis finds ways to be versatile while staying in the trap soundscape, truly inventive project and also super energic as usual
I never thought I would listen to a trap album this ambitious, Travis is ridiculously going so harder than ever on this
Honestly, I listened to the album because I thought the album cover was funny but I didn't expect it to be this good, IDK brings a lot of things that I like to hear in rap and RaB, also how tf does that guy make a Pusha T x Jid collab happen and keeps being unfamous, he's so underrated
Edit: that's why if one day you're doing an album kids, make the album cover fire, this what will incitate people to listen to the album
Underrated project, Denzel and Kennybeats have incredible chemistry and they just make dope music together
I like the production and the rapping on most of the tracks, I just think Travis has been more energic, versatile, inventive and just better in the past
Denzel Curry really is becoming that one versatile artist with this album, it's not a masterpiece but he's definitely pushing his boundaries away when it comes to diversity
Same style and goals as Sgt Peppers (most of the tracks were initially made to be on the prequel indeed) but I feel like this album goes further in the visions they basically had and is just better overall and more consistent
This album unfortunately has way lower quality and consistency than its prequel, I'm really glad they didn't pu the two albums together in one, it would be such a meh
That's a good job I think, more than having the usual basic hype songs that GnR always do this album has a lot of tracks where they explore some new styles
I usually only review studio projects but I felt like I had to do this for the Alice in Chains Unplugged because this is probably the only live recorded album which I go back to really often, I like some other live albums but I think nothing is like this one. Other than the super high quality of songwriting that we find on every Alice in Chains album and the setlist (the setlist is great I think because it's a mix of popular tracks but also some less famous ones that just fit the vibe ... read more
I think this album is really impactful for the 2010s music, it is one of those projects which participate building a subgenre's soundscape, in this case it's a base of inspiration and codes for drill and trap music
