Sabbathon Day 3
Mob Rules
Sorry, this is all i could do today lol. Anyway, mob rules is very similar to heaven and hell i would say, like some of the tracks could be swtiched to different albums and it wouldn't sound too out of place. However, I think track by track, this album is better than heaven and hell. Though heaven and hell is more iconic, I think the tracks are better. Maybe it's because I got more used to the sound with dio, but I just like it more. I would place this above ... read more
Sabbathon Day 2:
Sabotage, Technical Ectasy, Never Say Die, Heaven and Hell
This is about what I was expecting. A good album with one iconic single I'd already heard before, but other than that, nothing really surprised me about it. However, something about this album feels different from the albums that included ozzy, something more than the vocals. It feels as if it was written to fit Ronnie James Dio's style. Like I can imagine ozzy on these songs, but it doesn't feel like ... read more
Sabbathon Day 1:
Sabotage, Technical Ectasy, Never Say Die, Heaven and Hell
*sigh*, this was hard to get through honestly. No more heavy metal. No more prog. No more doom or anything memorable about the previous black sabbath albums. It feels like they tried to emulate the sound of bands similar to led zeppelin but kept the original lineups style. None of the music is bad, it just drags horribly. I was disappointed with this honestly. I just hope heaven and hell is better. I would place this ... read more

Sabotage, Technical Ectasy, Never Say Die, Heaven and Hell
This was kind of hard to get through honestly. The consistent quality of these sabbath albums I'm used to dropped. None of these songs are bad, it's just that some of them become uninteresting and drag on for longer than they should. However, it's not as bad as never say die. More about this album, you wont change was the one song i recognized, and i like it a lot, along with alot of the other songs, I ... read more
Sabbathon Day 1:
Sabotage, Technical Ectasy, Never Say Die, Heaven and Hell
They snuck in thrash before thrash existed and thought we wouldn't notice lol. Anyway, this was a good album that felt like it was dragging at times, but did eventually make up for it. It's a step in a different direction for black sabbath, moving away from the doom metal sound and more towards an expiremental prog sound. I would rank this album the same tier as the self titled, if not a little lower. Still ... read more
