I find myself coming back to a fair few of the songs on Loose pretty frequently, it’s a nice vibe and overall is music that just makes me feel pretty good to listen to. My top tracks from this are so easy to throw on whenever and vibe out to.
It has a couple moments where things get a bit TOO chill to the detriment of the album, but overall I really can’t complain about this one. This is a pretty solid sound for Jack Harlow.

if The Weeknd ever actually sang like this in a verse I’d laugh my fucking ass off
I just haven’t really enjoyed Post Malone’s sound after Hollywood’s Bleeding (my favourite album of his).
There are definitely some lyrics that hit hard on here, the chorus of Socialite in particular is really striking, but nothing about the sound is anywhere near as gripping. Austin is probably my least favourite album from him.
He spent all his effort on writing the bars and forgot to make the songs sound engaging.
And even then, Drake’s writing used to be better. This come across like battle-rapper-turned-musician songwriting with almost every single line being set up > punchline. The best Drake songs have smooth writing that flows together with the wordplay hitting naturally along the way.
