Christian Vander - Part 1 - Part 2

Love In The Darkness is incredibly beautiful, like one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard!

Borås Energi - Canary Juice
NR

This sound fucks. madness. Gonna play it to my little sister to scare her

Phluph - Phluph

King Crimson - LARKS' TONGUES IN ASPIC (2023 Elemental Mixes)

Totally mucked up the ending to LTiA pt.1

Peter Hammill - From The Trees
86

Another total banger! This guy ages like fine wine!

The Sea Nymphs - The Sea Nymphs

Wow! Extremely whimsical album, extremely English as well! Nothing masterful about it, but defo worth a listen.

Jethro Tull - Thick as a Brick
90

Truly one of the greatest concept albums of all time, extremely well written social commentary disguised as a mere jab at the concept of concept albums (lol).

Also, this has the best album cover of all time, a twelve paged newspaper!!!!

King Crimson - Islands
82

Ladies Of The Road is a miss, but otherwise a strong Crim Album

Cressida - Asylum
83

Fuck, why haven't I rated this? A very uniquely chill sound to this album, (well, apart from the aforementioned first). It has some very good, fun songs, but I think the appeal is the strange atmosphere. I love Munich so so so so so so so much!!

High Tide - High Tide 1969-1970
98

I love this band so fucking much, this is why!!!

House - Water Under The Bridge
68

Ultra obscure prog/art rock? I want it inserted into my openings! It's a great, well, not bad at least

Peter Hammill - ...All That Might Have Been...
75

Is this one single song? 47 minutes? Jeeesuz!!!!! Its written extremely well, even by Hammilian standards. I won't lie, so I'll admit listening to any song nearly 50 minutes long and this focused on writing is tedious at the best of times, and I sighed loudly when it was over. Just a few more listens now, to grasp the basic themes.

BLK TAG - Collision/Detection v5

Searched for "Bromine Chambers" on spotify for shits and giggles and found this terror inducing thing. Well, obviously partly inspired by Peter Hammill's "Magog ( In Bromine Chambers)" it brings similar vibes of desolation, helplessness and fear. It's far too late.

Wobbler - Hinterland
NR

I quite like the title track.

Wobbler - Rites At Dawn
70

Nothing really special, but a fun listen for prog enjoyers

Teru's Symphonia - Fable On The Seven Pillows
NR

I will review this properly once i learn Japanese to fluency

Gamle Sandvika Storband - That Old Sand Bay Big Band Suite

My grandfather plays on this! One of the tracks are named after him even (in code).

"@frogofprog Posted my review. I like it less overall, but there are more mediocre songs on Journey than Tab; the first half of this album is kindof... meh, I just love the aformentioned songs so much it makes up for it."
