Hatchie - Giving The World Away

This is a really solid dream pop record. I didn’t really know what to expect when I first started listening as I don’t really know anything about Hatchie, but yeah this was good. The melodies are strong, the production is dense and does a great job creating atmosphere (although a few songs admittedly seem to get a bit lost in their own vibes). Particular standouts are “Don’t Leave Me In The Rain” which is a great pop song with some massive snare hits, and the closer “Til We Run Out Of Air” which is a very dense and satisfying closer. Overall i’m impressed, excited to see how this project will sound with repeated listens
