I have to give props to Tecca. He made an album an album slightly than We Love You Tecca. Lil Tecca once again proves that he is one of the most dispensable, generic rappers in the entire game. Vocally he just sounds like that super stale melodic rapper who can't sing but still attempts it. He just sounds Lil Tjay mixed with Juice WRLD minus all of the vocal talent. The tracks where Tecca is alone mostly end up being super devoid of any character and boring tracks.
With that being said, the 2 saving graces of this thing are the production and the features. The production is super generic 66% of the time. It usually follows that same 808 and piano pattern every generic melodic trap album follows. However those 33% have fun instrumentals and boy are those ones fun. Foreign, Miss Me, True To The Game, Selectiion, and Out of Love all have super fun and catchy instrumentals. The features here are also pretty good. Internet Money and Skrillex drop pretty good beats, NAV sounds uncharacteristically alive, and Polo G and Lil Durk both lay down amazing verses. Tecca constantly gets outshined on his own tracks. Tecca also sometimes lays down somewhat engaging notes, especially on Miss Me which is such an amazing and catchy track, probably the best here. Though these fleeting moments aren't able to distract from the fact that the bulk of this album is super generic, melodic, trap rap that could really be done by any guy with a Soundcloud and an amateur beat maker.
