the cover misled me to think this would be something dark and abrasive. it's the complete opposite. a heartbreak album with '90s-inspired guitar melodies and vocals that radiate innocence. After announcing this album, Jessie Ware described it as a venture into "escapism and groove," and she couldn't have said it better. This is such a fun, fantastical album. It makes daydreams of intimate, emotional, and human experiences. Every pulse of the kickdrum and bass riff undeniably makes you want to move with it. The lyrics are poetic and never too repetitive.

It's an EP of fun, summer indie rock. A bit of J-pop in the guitar section, poppy garage drums and nice production. Might not be able to pick out the vocalist in a lineup of indie rock girl singers, though. Shoutout Blame Game for being a beautifully written song about the anguish of dealing with sexism
