Legendary.

Not gonna lie this is my favourite album of all time as of me writing, and I just want to gush about it.

Kid A needs no introduction, it is seen as one of Radiohead's landmark records alongside OK Computer, and was their first venture into electronic music. Being spawned from the depression caused by constant touring, the band decided to throw caution to the wind and make a complete U-turn.

What gets me so much about this album is how uncanny yet human it is, how an album that is ... read more

Wow.

The third helping of Beach House's upcoming new release Once Twice Melody is somehow against all the odds able to hold its own against the previous 2 chapters.

I've been completely swept up by this whole project so far, the absolute beauty paired with the variety makes this by far my favourite from the duo so far. And somehow they're still able to keep the momentum of amazing track after amazing track going on chapter 3!

Again, this feels like they took some of the traits from earlier ... read more

Disappointing.

Twenty One Pilots have returned, following up 2018's Trench, an album I quite enjoyed from them. I've always had a rocky relationship with this band, as many times I find myself enjoying their work like Vessel, and then they'll 180 and make something pretty rubbish like Blurryface. But Trench seemed to signal a maturing in not just the band's music, but also frontman Tyler Joseph's songwriting. So when I heard a new record was coming, I was quite excited! That was until I heard ... read more

103.5 Dawn FM.

The Weeknd returns roughly 2 years after his last and in my opinion best album, After Hours. A narrative driven, dark synth pop infused record that saw him not just deliver some of his best storytelling and songs, but also a character that was compelling and engaging for fans to make theories all about. Dawn FM comes from much the same place (being a direct sequel to After Hours), with Abel still in this character, however, it is much more reflective, with this character ... read more

A grower.

Jakey, known more commonly by his pseudonym NakeyJakey, is a YouTube channel where he talks about video games and other things while sitting on a yoga ball. However, as a side project he makes music, and unlike most YouTuber music, he's actually good at it. While he has been releasing singles for a long time that have all been pretty well received, he has yet to release a project, until now with the upcoming ROMCOM, a 7 track EP coming next year, and Pine Barrens is the lead ... read more

Transcendent!

Beach House share another taster to their new record Once Twice Melody with Chapter 2, and it impressively holds up to the phenomenal first chapter, which I have been listening to non-stop since it first released last month.

This second chapter is filled with once again absolutely beautiful tracks that feel like a combination of the bands sound throughout the years, the minimal and gorgeous soundscape of Teen Dream, Bloom, Depression Cherry, etc. all get combined with the ... read more
