billy woods & Kenny Segal - Maps

I knew this was going to be good. I saw who was producing the album. I listened to all the singles. Then, when the album finally released, I saw the features. Because of all these elements, it was safe to say that this album was going to be good. And guess what, it delivered.

The production on this album is top notch from Segal. Everything sounds dark and dirty, while also sounding a little more upbeat. Billy Woods is great as always, with his amazing flows and thought provoking lyrics. The features are amazing as well. The standouts for me, however, were Danny Brown and Aesop Rock. There performances were fantastic and their pen game mixed well with the production they were rapping over. Overall, this is another amazing hip-hop album that gives me hope for an amazing year for music.
