Original Review: I feel royal while listening to this album
This all probably would have been a 10/10 if it weren't for holy terrain
MAGDALENA screams the word "art," both on the album cover and in the album itself. MAGDALENA is FKA twigs at her most emotionally broken yet, and the production, lyrics, and vocals speak for themselves. The production is more minimalistic this time around while still sounding haunting, heavy, and beautiful. The production also sounds a lot more ... read more
This EP cover made me think of this question
Do ya'll think getting head and a hand job at the same time would go hard?
FKA twigs really just dropped M3LL155X and thought nothing of it. But man. This EP is so fucking good. It has no reason to be this good, but it's good. Unlike LP1, M3LL155X is way more in your face, dark, and experimental, while still being catchy and having some beauty to it. FKA twigs does not slack on the vocals, either. They're still absolutely gorgeous, but they do feel ... read more
She wants to be JPEGMAFIA so bad
LP1 was released almost 10 years ago, and it has not aged badly at all. I'd even say it got better over time, along with other amazing R&B albums like House of Balloons and Blonde. And like House of Balloons, LP1 was ahead of its time, incorporating glith and heavy elements to the production, which is something you didn't see often in R&B during the 2010s. But even though the production is a lot weirder and even dark, it has beauty to it. And when you ... read more
Really Brief Review:
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
This album is so boring, and I mean REALLY REALLY boring. It's not absolutely terrible, but it's just soulless. I can't really name anything interesting about it other than the out of place and terribly placed samples, like on Big Difference. A lot of the songs even feel and sound outdated, like Nicki is trying to relive her past. There's also some ... read more
Brief Review:
Shit sucks so much that it's good. Makes sense, right?
How does this work? It shouldn't. The mixing on Almighty So is pretty bad, and the production can be random as fuck. But somehow Chief Keef makes it work. The entire mixtape is pretty addicting and fun to listen to. It's chaotic in the best way. Blew My High is one track that I really love. The production is so good and laid-back. Ape Shit is... well, ape shit, and it works amazingly. It goes so fucking hard. Baby Whats ... read more
Brief Review:
HA HA HA
I didn't expect to enjoy a Chief Keef album as much as I did, but I really enjoyed Finally Rich. Yeah, it's not perfect or amazing, but it's still really fun. I love the over the top energy of the production and the serious but, at the same time, unserious lyrics. I Don't Like is one of the stand-out tracks that I really love. The production goes so fucking hard, as I love the lyrics and silly adlibs in the background. Hate Bein' Sober is ... read more
Her voice is annoying and all, but that's about it. It's just basic ass trap music. There's nothing really to talk about. People just be overreacting. I mean, that Fantano score is pretty wild, but who cares
Original Score: 8/10
Original Review: I hope we get more from this duo. Nice sample, great features, and Black Thought and Danger Mouse at their best.
Cheat Codes has been getting better and better as time goes by. While it is just a simple hip-hop album that has no concept, I think that's a good thing. With no distractions or some story, it leaves for the amazing production by Danger Mouse and top-tier lyricism by Black Thought to shine, and damn do they shine. I absolutely love the throwback ... read more
Damn. I missed out on so much
After the Night is yet another album released this year that I never checked out, and I can't explain why. I really liked After the Magic and TSTNPOTD, and I saw SO MANY positive reviews on After the Night. But for some reason, I never checked this album out until now. And... yeah. This shit is fucking fantastic. I feel so bad for listening to this late, but I'm glad I finally got to it. While I'm too familiar with live music, the stuff on here is absolutely ... read more
Shout out to @Wryyys for recommending me this album :)
I went into Peaceful as Hell completely blind. All I've been told was the genre, which is electro-industrial, and that's it. I also saw Anthony and Brad give this album a very high score. I didn't want that to influence my score or experience, but I did expect Peaceful as Hell to be very good. But man. It's more than good. It's fucking amazing! Everything about Peaceful as Hell is weird, hard, experimental, and fun as hell. The production ... read more

Little Mermaid Soundtrack if it was made today
For just a short EP, this is fucking amazing. The whole esthetic of this is very much like being in the sea in a video. The production is colorful and memories as fuck. Cyan Hardcore easily fits in that under the sea atmosphere, having bubbly production while still having that fast drum beat. Waited So Long is another amazing track that is a little more somber, especially with the sample, but still being really fun and ... read more
I'm not sure how WLFGRL is considered brutal when ...BIYAAHEYSF exists
Because I loved WLFGRL so much, I thought it only made sense to check out their other popular album, ...Because I'm Young Arrogant and Hate Everything You Stand For. And GOD DAMN! This album fucking slaps. While it still has that fast-paced production, it's a lot, and I mean A LOT, more aggressive, heavy, and punk influenced, and it's done so fucking well. The intro track, which is also the title track, goes all in with ... read more
"The Most Brutal Album I've Ever Heard"
That was probably the first time I've ever heard about this album. Looking back, it's such a funny ass title. Because when you listen to the album itself, it's nowhere close to being brutal or harsh, at least in my opinion. But even though I didn't find it brutal, I still had a really fun ass time with WLFGRL. There's so much to love about this album. To start, the album cover for WLFGRL is sick as fuck. I love the vintage look it. It honestly ... read more
Talk about teenage angst
Even though I've listened to so many albums this year, there were albums released this year that I never thought about checking out, and Wallsocket is one of them. I never really had a reason to check this album out, even after seeing positive reviews on this site. But as the end of the year is approaching, I thought it would be a good idea to listen to some albums that I didn't do until now. And what better place to start than with Wallsocket by underscores. While I ... read more
On top of my untitled mixtape, I've also released my first single to an album that I hope comes in the future. I'm really proud of this track, and it would mean a ton if ya'll gave it a listen

The untitled mixtape is finally. Don't expect too much. They're all just mediocre leftovers and demos, but I didn't want to throw them away

Thank you, Nathan, for sharing your track with me :)
Really cool track. I really like the production. It sounds like an 8-bit video game mixed with some rock. I also love the build-up to the end, with many more production elements being added. It makes the end of the track more satisfying. I also think the singing has improved a lot. Even with the effects, I can tell just how much you've approved on your singing. Overall, this track is pretty great and improves on the previous track I heard ... read more
Brief Review:
Fun :)
Literally, the only reason I listened to this album was because so many of my mutuals on Twitter talk about this album. But I'm glad I gave this album a listen because it's super fun. It's not anything crazy, but it's a unique and very enjoyable album. Most of that has to do with the production. The production is absolutely fantastic. It's dreamy, colorful, and catchy as fuck. You Lose! is one track that captures all of the qualities of the album. It's obviously inspiring ... read more
