Souza out here again with some motherfucking bangers
The production on this track is so good. It's very summery and chill, while also sounding bad ass. The lyrics are pretty great, too. It just feels like you're in your zone. The mixing on the vocals doesn't sound very good, though. If they were a little clearer or louder, Mancora would definitely be higher rated. But overall, this track is just another great vibe. Love seeing the grind. Keep it up :)
The definition of fun. One of the best feel-good tracks I have heard. It's simple and cute
My first taste of Da La Soul, and I'm already hooked in. Also, I'm giving it a 100 because I was born on June THREE!
Happy 50th birthday to Nas π₯³
6 albums in 3 years. Both Nas and Hit-Boy worked their ass off to give us some of their best work to date. You can hear the passion they put in both their trilogies. And now it all ends with Magic 3. A bittersweet end to a trilogy. On first, I thought this Magic 3 was the worst album in the trilogy. I found it to be slow and uninteresting. The production was low-key and not as hard hitting as KD3 or the first Magic album. But after many listens, I came to ... read more
SZA carries this track heavily. Drake does fine. His singing on this track is WAY better than on Honestly, Nevermind. Still, there's nothing to write home about from this track
It's enough to make a grown man cry. I'm not that grown man, but I'm still crying
Every AOTY user
But for real, though, this is one of the best songs of all time
I am a man, so I can't relate to this song. Therefore, this song is a 0. But I'll add 90 points because I respect women
Didn't know Remi can make a movie soundtrack
I only have one problem with this album: It's a little too long. There are some moments in the album where it feels dragged out for no reason. But other than that, this album is really good and beautiful. I'm a sucker for most piano based music, so once I heard the first track, I knew I was going to like this. I love how light and angelic this album feels. Even on tracks like Memories On The Other Side, where the production starts to build on top of ... read more
Thank you, Neezy, for sharing your track with me :)
I'm a gl0wrrr, not a sh0werrr
This track gives off so much 100 gecs vibes, so of course I'm going to like it. The production is really great on this track. The change up, especially, is really nice. It keeps the track engaging. Alkaline also fits nicely on the track, even if their vocals are pitched up. Overall, gl0wrrr is fun and engaging that tickles my autistic brain. Nice job here, Neezy. And props to Alkaline, too. They added a lot to ... read more
Another great track from the man himself. But unlike previously tracks, Over is a lot more personal, with Souza talking about a love that's close to being over. The lyrics are simple, but they fit the whole vibe of the track. I have to be honest, though. I'm not the biggest fan of the production. It's not bad, but it's not for me, which makes sense since I'm not the biggest fan of Carti's work. Also, the guitars at the end are very out of place. But overall, Over is a nice sad boy vibe track, ... read more
Shout out to Marshall4Real for making this album :)
Anomaly Machine but with o,m and y
If you want to have a dream while you're awake, this is the album for you. This album really puts you in a whole new world, where nothing feels real. But that's the comfort of Anomaly Machine and why I really like it. This album puts in a mind state where your worries don't matter. Right now, all that matters is the atmosphere you feel from this album. There are some genuinely gorgeous tracks on Anomaly ... read more
Thank you, Nathan, for showing me your track :)
Damn. What a ride. For a track that's almost 30 minutes, half sliced does a great job at creation an experience that's both enjoyable and fun. While most of the track is nothing but an EDM beat that is simple but effective, the track also consists of fun samples from artists I think most of us have listened to. Even some tracks that are radio garbage work well within half sliced. I will say that sometimes this track feels like a song mashup, ... read more
Playing Robota into Heaven is basically if Burial's Untrue and James Blake's self-titled had a baby. I fucking love it!
I did not expect to love this album this much, but I do. James Blake created an album that is beautiful yet haunting. This whole album feels like a robot trying to be human, and the production perfectly captures this theme. It's tries to sound human, but something about it feels off. Still, this album is able to create something that is beautiful and moving. ... read more
If you rate this album low, you're sexist. End of story. (jk, obviously)
A surprisingly well-rounded album from Olivia. While it doesn't have the immediate hit factor SOUR had, it still has some great and hard-hitting tracks. all-american bitch does a nice job introducing us to GUTS, with it starting slow and then going into this bad ass guitar section, basically showing the true nature of Olivia. vampire is another great track and one of the better slower ones. I like how the piano ... read more
What a huge disappointment from Teezo
It sucks because I really loved the songs Teezo was featured on, like RUNITUP and MODERN JAM. So when I heard a debut album from was coming, I was excited. But then the snippets he posted on Twitter, and all my excitement went away. And while there are some decent tracks on this album, most of them are just nothing. OK is just introducing me to the disappointment I will feel throughout this album, with bad Disney ass vocals and production that's ... read more
DOUBT hits home so hard π
You know, I always say that Jeff is fun to listen to. But once you look at the lyrics, you get the exact opposite of fun. Most of his songs question our existence and why we're here. On HELLMODE, he puts his midlife crisis in the spotlight. While Jeff is still fun and full of energy, the lyrics are more personal, talking about life and how some things have to end. Jeff did have some personal lyrics before, but it was more about feeling worried. Here, he's ... read more
