THIS... ALBUM... IS SO AWESOME (That's right, I'm going to overtake Brad Taste by using his own words)
This album was a blessing to listen to. Do I even need to talk about the production? It's just amazing from front to back. All the features added something amazing to each song, and Anderson's voice just has me grooving. Each song meshes well together as a whole, so your listening experience will not be interrupted. This album deserves more than a 7/10. It's just so ... read more
Thank you @nathan for showing me your song :)
I love the distortion and how catchy this song is. Although, I do feel like there's something missing in the song. Maybe an emotional climax or something. Overall, I like this song. Can't wait to hear more
Anderson .Paak is a legend. The production is amazing, and the vocals are always stellar. I am praying for a new album this year.
Original Review: I feel like I'm in my 60s.
I mean, I wasn't wrong. That's the feeling both Bruno and Anderson make you feel. When revisiting the album, I knew I was going to have a good time. I was correct. Throughout this whole album, I was just jamming out to each song and not giving a care about the world. Songs like Fly As Me and Skate perfectly describe the feeling of the whole album. Each song here is memorable and has something about them to come back to. From funny lines to catchy ... read more
For a couple of throw away songs, they honestly elevate the whole album for me overall. The production is amazing from both Madlib and Kanye. Tyler, as always, creates a smooth and chill mood for each song. Even SORRY NOT SORRY works as the final song, which is crazy. I didn't think extra songs could add something to an already amazing album, but they do
I feel like this 36y old man was frozen in 2009, woke up in 2023 and thought that this type of music was still trendy. No. Fuck no. As soon as I finished this album, I began to question my life choices. Only listen to this album if you want to improve your life and not make stupid decisions
Edit: (0-->10) After listening to 2 Melanie martinez albums, this has a lot more charm
My biggest complaint on this album is that he sounds so much like Denzel Curry. Other than that, this is a pretty good album, especially for his age. Nothing so suprising, but a nice album to casually listen to
This is a little more enjoyable than the 1st single. Nothing crazy though
Edit: (70-->50)
This is Tyler at his most vulnerable. The instrumental also elevates what Tyler is saying throughout this whole song, slow and broken
This song is such a classic. Also, I think the sped up version of this song is gone. Thank god for that
Decided to check this out because of a youtube recommendation. And you know what, this was fun. Not something I would go back to, but something that brought a smile to my face and suprised me for how well produced this was. And it was all made with Super Mario 64 sounds, what the fuck
Does it drag on for way too long? Yes
Is it peggy's best project? No
Do I like it? Yes
The whole album feels very weird and has a lot of anger in it. Not every moment sticks with me, but the album overall is a raw and unfiltered experience I enjoy and love
Edit: (80 --> 70)
For a song that didn't make the final cut, this is still really good. Amazing instrumental that feels luxurious in the ears
Edit: (80-->90) god, this beat is so smooth
Thank you @Malneezy for showing me your album :)
The first thing I want to say is this isn't a genre I go back to often. It's not bad, but I'm not as interested or educated in this genre. I'm someone who leans more into hip hop or experimental. But that said, this was a real fun listen. Everything here is well produced, bouncy, abrasive, and chaotic. It also feels more unique than most electronic music I hear, or maybe that's just me. Definitly something people should give a listen to. Also, ... read more
This album shows off Sage's skills in a better way than his recent album. The production is a lot more memorable and is easy to get lost in
Edit: (80 --> 90)
I remember hearing this on the radio as a kid and bumping my head to it. Today, I still do the same shit
