Not their best work, but still enjoyable. I also like the elements of synthpop and dance punk.
I'm suprised that I like Somebody's Calling Me. There is no filler or filter on this record.
"Texas, I Love You but You're Bringing Me Down"
This album was fun to listen to. It's very groovy, while also having personal lyrics from James.
This album is a mixed bag for me, but I enjoy it overall
Edit: (70 --> 80)
I love how Radiohead always change their sound on every album, but this isn't one of their greatest moments
Edit: (60 --> 70)
Is it weird that I want to listen to this again. The lyrics are weird and the instrumental is fucked. Feels like someone is having past trauma coming back to them in musical form. This is amazing
Edit: (100 --> 90)
Not my favorite Xiu Xiu album, but still amazing and is worth your time to check out
I like the diverse and calm nature of this album, but for Nick, it feels forced.
Edit: (70 --> 90) I'm stupid
30 minutes of calming folk songs. Real beautiful and sad at the same time
Edit: (90-->100)
For the 80s, this shit is insane. Though politicaly driven, this album does not fall in the tropes of modern "politicaly" driven records.
