An old soul, an odd soul, Oddisee (rapper and producer) is an anomaly in the 2015 scene. Thoughtful lyricism, this is a man on a inner soul mission to grow, to blossom, to become greater. We travel with him on this journey. While there is a few fillers it's an impressive trip we take with him we slow down enough to soak it in. Shows hope for hip-hop future.

Rapid delivery, cool persona, trunk shaking beats, upbeat CD. Futuristic has been making loud noise on the hip-hop come up from Phoenix AZ. A huge mainstay on YouTube many like me came across him there. The Rise showcases his maturity as a lyricist and broadcasting his wild personality. Concise, brash, another level musack - Twigs is reinventing the music game. While not as iconic as LP1 this is a tight mini deeply personal bridge EP between LP's this wet's your appetite for what she has in store for us next.

Needed intelligent soulful, creative, still banging bravado hip-hop in a time of political change on the bloody USA streets as other fake posers ignore their surroundings and instead gloat rap about odes to riches, drugs and violence.
