Deeply affected me. Anything I could say would soil it.

If it talks quiet, listen close. Don't dismiss it because you envisioned something else beforehand.
This album is sensuous, soft-spoken, wilted, strenuous, and yearning to be heard for what it is. These are the afterthoughts of infatuation, told in present time. This is an urgent call, a strenuous evocation -- told closely. It's expressive in all the right ways. It coddles you, and then lets you go, free.
A beautiful feat by Mike Hadreas.

Charli has kept her promise in delivering a mental check-up album that's "indicative of the times were in." Its length and lack of variation leads it be repetitive and redundant in the long run. Although, some sparse passages/ideas do bring a bit of a riff to the sprawling nocturnal mélange. It's an intriguing soundscape concept album, but it offers little to chew on once you've become acclimated with its sound and message. It's listenable, but doesn't hold enough depth to really sit with.

A quiet vignette of solitude, meditating on what is means/feels to lack romanticism. It’s sonic soundscape matches its lyric content perfectly. This was a work I am greatly personally connected to.
But at times it seems to soften the bold message it should be giving. And some of the songwriting can feel amateur. But there is great potential to be honed.
