DAY 2 OF REVIEWING EVERY HIGHEST RATED ALBUM ON AOTY-

-RADIOHEAD-OK COMPUTER

The thing i find so special about this album, is that every track serves a very important purpose, i have little to no issues.

Airbag is a dystopian masterpiece introducing the world of the album. The guitar work is stunning and piercingly cold, Thom's vocal performance is also harrowing while beautifully talking about his narrow escape from death.

Paranoid Android is one of the most perfect songs ive ever heard...every detail is perfectly done. Bohemian Rhapsody-esque. The pedals used, specifically on the guitars are hypnotising. The bassline on the latter half, is the work of a God.

Subterranean Homesick Alien although not one of the highlights is astoundingly pretty.

The climax of Exit Music is one of the most euphoric moments i have ever felt listening to music...

My favourite thing about Let Down is the subtly panned vocals rather then being in your face like on the previous tracks, just lets the crushing instrumentation do the talking. This is truly one of the most defeated, melancholic songs to ever be written,

Fitter Happier is a personal favourite especially because it is perfectly placed before the intoxicating energy of Electioneering...ELETRIC CHORUS

Climbing Up the Walls- Harrowing. Sounds like a horror movie, its amazing.

What is there to be said about No Suprises that hasnt already been stated. The lullaby- like creeping melody juxtaposes perfectly with the torturous lyricism.
