LEAST FAV TRACK- ONE FOR THE ROAD
6/10

Even when their are good melodic catchy choruses Alex sounds dead. He doesn’t sound interested. Songs like “Do I Wanna Know” “I Wanna Be Yours” and “I Want It All” have these anthemic choruses just delivered in a boring manner that leads me to be bored. These are songs that could have easily have been so much better with a more raw and exciting charisma from the lead singer
Another Issue is, as I said, the mainstream and poppy production from some of these songs. Even the better ones, like “Do I Wanna Know” replay the same riff with loads of effects and a bland drum beat, almost identical premise to the song “Why’d You Only...” In My Opinion.
A combination of both of these factors are seen on the songs “No1 Party Anthem” and “Mad Sounds” these are soulless, overly slow, bland pop songs that I feel repulsed . I would rather eat glass than listen to these songs multiple times.
Overall this album is nothing ground breaking but it is far from unlistenable, this offers very accessible pop rock that at least a couple songs could be enjoyed by most people
