Both bands brought some of their absolute best stuff to the table to create something that feels truly special.
Thank you once again for sharing your art with me, Nathan!
The production choices on this track are phenomenal. The glitchiness, the separation, and then that speedup towards the end is a great touch. I would love to hear more stuff like this from you.
This might be the most genuinely fun grindcore album I've heard in a while.
The album is good, but, if you have the chance, they are much more of a commanding presence and unstoppable force during their live show. They opened for Faye Webster in Brooklyn last night and it was amazing.
"Tiktok and taxes" is a terrible lyric. HOWEVER, the song is still pretty enjoyable. Far from their best, but not nearly their worst. I'm pretty excited for this album, all things considered.
I love '68 and all things Josh Scogin related. It's kind of weird to me, though, that they're calling this the heaviest of their records when "In Humor and Sadness" still exists. This song just sounds like a slightly heavier continuation of their last (and weakest) record. I'm sure the album will still be good, but I hope it's not just more of the same.
