Michael Jackson - Thriller
100

Michael's best album just never misses, an absolute masterpiece of an album. Everything off of this record is golden, with the hits Thriller, with it's somewhat creepy nature being interrupted by the vocal excellence of MJ, Beat It, being the perfect follow up to Thriller with a somewhat intense rockish song, and Billie Jean, a classic funky pop song that's arguably the best off of this LP, all delivering. Even without the amazing hits off of this record, Wanna Be Startin' ... read more

Michael Jackson - Forever, Michael
90

The last soul focused Michael Jackson record delivers, as I'm accustomed to with MJ. There's a lot of great songs off of this record, with We're Almost There, Take Me Back, One Day In Your Life, Just A Little Bit Of You, You Are There, Dear Michael, I'll Come Home To You. This album marks the end of an era for arguably the greatest pop artist of all time, and this works as the best ending to this era possible. All in all, this was a project that I greatly enjoyed and ... read more

Michael Jackson - Off the Wall

Michael's first album as an adult showcases the style that would turn him into a megastar, and it is truly fantastic. This record, as opposed to the four that came before it, features that funk-pop style that transcended Michael as an artist, and the sound, though it isn't 100% utilized just yet, is still great. Of course the hits Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough and Rock with You are great songs, especially the latter, with it being such an easy listen, and equally as easy ... read more

Michael Jackson - Ben

Similar to his first project and being released in the same year, this project reigns supreme over Got To Be There, as this is a fantastic project. A lot to love off of this record, with Greatest Show On Earth, Everybody's Somebody's Fool, What Goes Around Comes Around, In Our Small Way, and You Can Cry On My Shoulder all greatly impressing me. Overall, this is a very enjoyable project that many should listen to.

Michael Jackson - Music & Me
90

Michael Jackson, even at 15 years of age, is incredible, delivering a fantastic project here. Once again, Jackson is going more for the soulful sound rather than that funky-pop style that would be featured later on in his career. This is still a style that Michael could definitely pull off, with All The Things You Are, Happy, Johnny Raven, Morning Glow, and Music And Me all being great songs, in my opinion. Even though this isn't necessarily the traditional MJ music, I still greatly ... read more

Michael Jackson - Got to Be There

A great project here from Michael, even at the young age of 14. Like the other pre adult MJ records, this album has more of a focus on a soulful sound rather than the funk-pop fusion that would make Michael a legend. Regardless, Jackson is still great on the record, with Ain't No Sunshine, I Wanna Be Where You Are, Girl Don't Take Your Love From Me, In Our Small Way, Got To Be There, Wings Of My Love, and You've Got A Friend all being great songs in my opinion. While I ... read more

Bing Crosby & Rosemary Clooney - That Travelin' Two-Beat
92

A fantastic record that is arguably Bing's best (for me it's second to America, I Hear You Singing). Rosemary Clooney & Bing Crosby have great chemistry together, and that chemistry is showcased on songs like That Travelin' Two-Beat, New Vienna Woods, Knees Up, Mother Brown, and Hear That Band. Overall, this partnership was very enjoyable to hear, and this project is definitely worth your time.

Bing Crosby - Bing Crosby Sings the Great Country Hits
92

A fantastic project that ends up being one of his best. A lot of solid cuts off of this LP, with Four Walls, Crazy Arms, Hello Walls, Jealous Heart, Still, and Sunflower all being great songs in my opinion. Overall, this project was highly impressive and is definitely worth a listen.

Bing Crosby - Bing Sings Whilst Bregman Swings
83

A great project where Bing lives up to his potential. Several great songs off of this record, with Mountain Greenery, Cheek To Cheek, Deed I Do, Heat Wave, and Have You Met Miss Jones? being my personal favorites. Overall, this is a solid record that I would recommend listening to.

Bing Crosby - Blue Skies (Selections from the Motion Picture)
75

Bing was at his best late in his career, delivering several good albums like this one. You Keep Coming Back Like A Song and A Serenade To An Old-Fashioned Girl were my personal favorites off of this LP, and the rest of the record is solid. Overall, this a project that is worth giving a shot.

Bing Crosby - Bing: A Musical Autobiography
72

One of the most unique projects I've ever heard, Bing: A Musical Autobiography is a good project. This is easily the longest album I've reviewed, with almost 4 hours of content. Bing goes through his whole musical career, telling the story of how he became the successful artist that he was then. While there were great songs off of the record (Sweet And Lovely, The Day You Came Along, Silent Night, White Christmas, I'll Be Seeing You, Alexander's Ragtime Band, Now Is The ... read more

Bing Crosby - Bing Crosby Sings Songs By George Gershwin
71

A good early project from Bing here, with a few solid cuts off of it. This album is more well-rounded, with more decent songs than good songs, but there are still some standouts with They All Laughed and Nice Work If You Can Get It. Overall, this was a solid project for the time and I would imagine that others could find enjoyment in this LP.

Bing Crosby - New Tricks
71

A good project here from Bing, with some solid production from the help of Buddy Cole helping this record out. There were a few good songs off of this LP, with Georgia On My Mind, I'll Remember Today, and Tammy being my personal favorites off of the record. Overall, I enjoyed this record and could see others enjoying it as well.

Bing Crosby - When Irish Eyes Are Smiling
67

A decent project from Bing where he shares some of his Irish heritage. There are a few solid songs off of this one, with How Can You Buy Killarney and Eileen being my personal favorites off of this LP. Overall, this project is solid and may be found to be highly enjoyable by some Bing Crosby fans.

Bing Crosby - Home On The Range
58

An average project here from Bing, lacking memorability. There isn't anything truly special about this record in any way, with Bing kind of just cosplaying as a cowboy throughout it. Although Bing is talented enough to salvage a decent amount of the project, it doesn't do anything to excite, so I wouldn't recommend listening to this one.

Bing Crosby - Holiday Inn (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)
50

A pretty average record here. Once again, this is a Bing Crosby project that suffers from age, with several songs that just aren't able to be enjoyed properly due to the sound quality. There isn't really standout song off of this record, so you wouldn't be missing anything if you just skipped out on listening to it.

Bing Crosby - Blue Hawaii
50

An average album here from Bing. Just isn't anything particularly interesting about any of the tracks here, besides Sweet Hawaiian Chimes. Maybe Bing had somewhat of a grudge with Elvis because his Blue Hawaii was better? Regardless, besides Sweet Hawaiian Chimes, you aren't missing anything if you skip this album.

Bing Crosby - 16 Most Requested Songs
38

A bad album, though it isn't entirely Bing's fault here. Pretty much all of the songs here have a sort of scuffed nature to them, leading to a lot of these songs not sounding as good as they could with proper production. There isn't really anything worth listening to off of this record, unfortunately.

Imminence - Turn The Light On
100

This project is an absolute masterpiece. For me, this is a top 5 record that I've ever heard, with a plethora of great songs off of this LP. Paralyzed, Saturated Soul, Infectious, The Sickness, Scars, Disconnected, To the Light, and Love & Grace were all fantastic tracks that absolutely blew me away the first time I heard them. It's hard to explain how great this record truly was, from the production, to the vocals of Eddie Berg, and the instrumentals provided by the band. ... read more

Imminence - The Black
100

An absolute masterpiece of an album that only continues to build the legend of Imminence. This was just an incredible album, with so many great songs, such as Desolation, Heaven Shall Burn, Death by a Thousand Cuts, Come What May, Continuum, and The Black all being incredible cuts. This is an unbelievably well put together record, that undoubtably makes me excited for whatever is to come from this group going forward. All in all, this is a must hear project for all Metal fans.
