Tracy Chapman - Tracy Chapman
87

Wow, what an incredible am timeless album, I can't wait to check out more of her stuff. The highlights on this record for me were: fast car, baby can I hold you, talkin' bout a revolution and for my lover.

Low Roar - House in the Woods
70

This record is so intimate and authentic. The production is beautiful, it feels very ethereal and dreamlike. Though I did find some tracks did drag out slightly and some songs sounded quite similar.

Neil Young - Harvest
85

This album is so intimate and beautiful. The songwriting is so contemplative and compelling, the instrumentation on this album, specifically the blend of the harmonica and guitars, is so captivating. The highs on this album are definitely very high, I understand why this is his most commercially successful album. However, the heavily orchestrated tracks on this record are a slight let down, though I do appreciate Young being experimental, but it just didn't click for me

Lorde - Virgin
45

One of my favourite things about Lorde has always been her songwriting, and on this album in particular, her lyrics are so raw and introspective, which I love. The concept of this record was also really fascinating, however beyond that, the album just didn't click for me. The production just felt really bland and repetitive.

Lou Reed - Transformer
90

Bowie and Ronson's input on this album make for such a unique sound, I love it. I also really enjoy Lou reed's progressive songwriting and his storytelling abilities.

Marvin Gaye - What's Going On
95

This record is full of so much soul and passion. It's upsetting how pertinent alot of his lyrics are in 2025, over 50 years after its release.

Taylor Swift - Midnights
65

Maroon and you're on your own kid are incredible songs.

Taylor Swift - folklore

Peak Taylor Swift. This era felt so refreshing and exciting

Taylor Swift - 1989

This is everything I want from a pop album, though there are 1 or 2 tracks that I don't vibe with. Damn I miss 2014.

Simon & Garfunkel - Bookends
75

A very pleasant album, however the intro to save the life of my child was SO unnecessary, it did not need to be that loud, great song though. The highlights for me are America, Mrs Robinson and A hazy shade of winter.

Labi Siffre - Crying, Laughing, Loving, Lying
98

Such a charismatic and sincere album with stunning songwriting and vocals. There isn't one song on this album I dislike, it's consistently sublime.

Blur - 13
60

There are some incredible tracks, but as an album, it feels quite incohesive.

The Rolling Stones - Let It Bleed
80

Both the opening and closing tracks on this record are phenomenal. Some songs aren't very memorable to me, perhaps I just need to give it a few more listens. But overall a very satisfying listening experience.

Vashti Bunyan - Just Another Diamond Day
75

So wholesome and serene. This album didn't wow me, it's simple but delightful and perfect for a peaceful spring day.

Margo Guryan - Take a Picture
95

This album is so soft and endearing. Margo's vocals are so sweet and whimsical. Definitely not one of the greatest albums, but it so charming. I have such a soft spot for this record.

The Zombies - Odessey and Oracle
97

The atmosphere of this record is unmatched, there are 0 bad or weak songs. The beautiful harmonies and unique instrumentation makes this album such a delight to listen to.

C418 - Minecraft - Volume Alpha
97

So many fond memories associated with this album, it's certainly the most fundamental album of my childhood. It's not just the nostalgia that makes this album so remarkable, it is also genuinely just a flawless ambient record.
