Into The Wild is probably my favorite movie of all time, there just isn't any movie that really matches it's vibe. When I first watched the movie, I thought the soundtrack playing in the background sounded fantastic, and fit the movie perfectly, and then while I was looking it up later, and saw the name EDDIE VEDDER?
The guy who wrote grunge with Pearl Jam wrote this? Welp, apparently Eddie Vedder is a master of folk
Guaranteed - Humming Version opens the film, and it might be my favorite scene in the movie, other than maybe the "Happiness is only real when shared" scene. Its literally just a 2 minute scene of Christopher McCandless hiking through the beautiful alaskan wilderness while it plays, but it sets the tone for the whole movie.
I don't think the movie would be anywhere near as good without Eddie Vedder's work.
