this one kind of hurts to review. this is one of my favorite albums ever, but looking at it critically.... it is pretty messy and a lot of the songs here aren't that listenable. it's an experience, but can i say this is anywhere near as consistent as the pod? not honestly. when i first heard this thing i was kind of going through some shit and i projected it on to these songs, but looking back, these songs are nowhere near as "but like these lyrics are sort of deep bro". i mean you need to like the humor but ween also experiments with some pretty interesting sounds on this thing. and i like most of it. sure there are some bad songs, but it's not as bogged down as guava or gws.
favorites: most of the album
least favorites: luara, molly (these two are way too out there and i mean i like songs like "mononucleosis" and "boing" so that's saying something.
some pretty cool ideas but mostly shit. most of it is just noises, which is cool if you're in to that i guess. there were some pretty cool ideas in here but they are mostly ruined by the waaaacky moments that, just aren't worth listening to. unless you like it. i could see an argument for liking it but, i dont.
favorites: piledriver, i get a little taste of you, the meadow (i mean they are at least resembling songs)
