Maybe I’m just not the target audience for femtanyl. This really just isn’t for me. I’ve seen so many people praise this EP for being hype and noisy, and they loved it, but the amount of glitch effects and, well, the glitchiness in general just doesn’t satisfy my ears. But the biggest problem I have here is the lyrics. Not necessarily that I can’t understand what she’s saying, which I can’t, but the effects and distortion used on them make it hard to understand and sometimes takes me out of the whole experience. At least MURDER EVERY 1 U KNOW! makes it easier for me to hear what she’s saying, which is why it’s my favorite track here. I can see someone enjoying this EP a lot if they’re into hardcore/digicore, but personally, it doesn’t sit well with me.
