Not sure how to feel about Jizzlobber. That track is quite the headscratcher.
Overall, this is a solid album, but I found the real thing more enjoyable.
Favorites: land of sunshine, rv, smaller and smaler, be aggressive, crack hitler, midlife crisis
Least favorite: Malpractice, a small victory.
Aside from Watermelon in Easter Hay, which is a phenomenal song, both acts dragged on for sooooo god damn long. Some of these songs seriously just sucked. All the jamming got grating fast.
Incredibly fun with some kickass riffs. This was basically everything I was hoping FNM would be.
Favorites: War Pigs, Epic, From out of nowhere, zombie eater.
Least favorite: surprise! You're dead!
Obviously incredible. Had some strange songs but it was overall great. It's missing those out of pocket lines that I adore from Tribe, though.
This is not a perfect record, but I wouldn't love it so much if it was.
How the fuck do you even make music this good?
Favorites: Isn't she lovely, joy inside my tears, Summer Soft, knocks me off my feet,
Least favorite: Village ghetoo land
Genuinely a really interesting project, only brought down by the fact that the sound gets a little tiring quickly.
Favorites:Rock and Roll, Torture Chamber, Fumbling over words that rhyme
Least favorite Funky Voltron.
Little House is just the craziest violin solo for 18 minutes. What's there not to love about this album?
I can't really describe what it is I like about this album. That seems to be a common trend with Zappa albums, but oh well. It was certainly an experience.
Favorites: Joe's Garage, Catholic Girls, Why Does it Hurt When I Pee?
Least favorite: Fembot in a wet t-shirt.
I was afraid I wouldnt like this, and well, I dont. But i dont hate it either. It's got good moments and honestly made me chuckle once.
This live album brushes up on a majority of the songs featured in GWS, improving them. There are some exceptions of course, like lmlyp and you fucked up (that song just doesn't work without the lunatic screaming).
The country musicians performing with Ween give this live album an incredibly endearing flair. It helps that the performances are, as usual, kickass. The closing track to this is insane.
A solid series of live performances. I feel like them being in an enclosed area stripped some of the charm away, but it's still Ween at the end of the day.
This shit actually kinda bangs. At first, the production bothered me but I liked it the more it went on.
Favorites: Midnight Show, Believe me Natalie, Andy you're a star, Jenny was a friend of mine
Least favorite: Smile like you mean it, on top
Probably the worst album I could've started with. it is incredibly boring. The instruments are all around weak and the writing ranges from passable to corny. Jetstream is a good track, but as the rest of the tracklist is composed of 70% mediocrity and 30% electropop/dance sequel garbage that was seemingly mass produced during this era, I'm sorry to say that I'm not a fan.
It isn't an album of bangers. Instead, it's a melodic project, a eulogy for Bowie's own oncoming demise.
