A criminally underrated project with only a few minor skips. BLBC, Fuck You, Wildflower, Satisfied, I Want You, Cry Baby, It's OK and No One's Gonna Love You are all standouts.
Couple of hits here and there, weirdly short songs, and it's a little slow in the middle.
I have to give him props, this is the least cringe he's been in a minute. Could have been a classic had he focused it down to like 14 or so of the best tracks. Too many good but not great tracks
When I worked at best buy, a middle-aged Hispanic guy dug through the CD bargain bin, grabbed nothing else in the entire store but this and purchased it for $6. I really hope he enjoyed "Call of the Wild" and it's rapey undertones followed 4 songs later about victims of sexual assault.
This is the best song of all time and I refuse to accept any other opinion
I'm ashamed to say I bumped the hell out of this when I was a cringe ass 19 year old.
A definite step in the right direction for Cole but with a solid amount of filler to weigh it down
There's something so... off... about this project. It just feels cheaply made and uninspired.
As the Hampton Inn in Sandy, Utah put it... "Is the new J Cole album putting you to sleep early? Our beds are ready for you." I've never had any desire to re-listen to this one after forcing myself through it 2 or 3 times.
Without a doubt his best album... which is kind of crazy to say when there's still so much filler here.
Some bangers, but a lot of duds mixed in the track list weigh this one down
An underrated gem of an album. So many tracks with great production with sticky hooks and catchy beats. Love it.
