I might just be a nerd for the Native Tongues style of hip-hop, but that doesn't change how this is one of the best albums from the 2000's that I've ever heard. It's better than Mr. Hood, that's for sure.

Not only is this one of the most overlooked hip-hop records of the 1990's, but it also serves as an incredible musical starting point to MF DOOM's legacy and discography. "Mr. Hood" definitely has its scattered moments, both with the track list and it's concept, but what Subroc, Zev, and Onyx delivered on this project perfectly incapsulates the era it was made in in the best way possible.
