Never been a huge fan of Conan Grey but I do not understand how the rating of this song is so low as 'Overdrive' is outstanding in all aspects, with the track being a tremendous refresh. Conan Grey sounds great, putting a perfect amount of effort into his vocals, coming out with some excellent melodies in the process. The production is groovy and the work done on the chorus is wonderful as it gives of a retro feeling that I know has been overused quite a bit in recent times, but is beautiful on along with Conan on this song. The lyrics are really good with Conan Grey talking about how he changed his mind about falling in love and talks about drifting off into the night using some creative, great imagery that made me feel like I was speeding along with him. If Conan Grey continues to take his future tracks in this direction, I'll be listening to a lot more Conan Grey cause this is lovely, being full of life. Overall, 'Overdrive' removes all doubt that I had in Conan Grey, for the moment, and I'm excited to see if he can keep up this beaming personality.
