initially i wasn't crazy about it, but after listening it's grown on me so much. it's a massive step up from softscars and maybe their best album.

On this record, Gaga took everything good about pop music, doubled it, and layed it out in the form of 'Born This Way'. This is an absolutely insane album that has spawned countless hits, some of which are still gaining popularity today. My complaint is that I feel as though the quality drops off a bit in the middle - but it picks up again shortly after! Gaga isn't afraid to have fun or make a stance, and I absolutely love that.
Fav tracks: ScheiBe, Government Hooker
A complete 180 from her previous work, but she pulls it off flawlessly. Though I adore her pop music, it's very refreshing to hear Gaga singing over a more stripped back, acoustic instrumentation. This album tackles everything, from loss, to grievance, to sex and new love, and feels almost like a telling of Gaga's life.
Fav tracks: John Wayne, Perfect Illusion, Sinner's Prayer
There's definitely a few bad remixes, but I loved most of them. I especially like how each artist put their own spin on their specific song, which made the project really interesting.
Fav track: Sour Candy (Shygirl & Mura Masa Remix)
Absolutely insane production, and Jane rapping sounds sooo good. I love how off-kilter and all over the place this album was, even if a few songs sounded similar to each other.
Initially I was scared after hearing JRJRJR, but it grew on me a surprising amount. I adore how Jane isn't afraid to switch genres and try out new things! This truly feels like Frailty's older sister.
Fav track: TURN UP OR DIE
Mayhem is here, and, well... it doesn't exactly live up to the name.
This project shows Gaga returning to her roots, and it is full to the brim with dance pop bangers. It shows her experimenting with different styles, like grunge and dark pop - but they all work a little TOO well to be in a collection titled Mayhem. There isn't much chaos present at all.
This doesn't make it a bad album though. I really enjoyed it, and I could definitely see myself returning to it again. The ... read more
After being the rapper of Blackpink, and being limited to short verses, Lisa finally has her time to shine.
...And she doesn't exactly take it.
Her first full-length project has a great concept behind it, but it isn't executed very well at all. In fact, focusing on 'Alter Egos' is even MORE diminishing to Lisa's artistry than her 20 second rap verses, because it isn't reflecting anything on her - only the characters she has created. And through this whole album, ... read more
