I can see why I Just Might was the only single off of this project. As that was the only song that remotely sounded different and had depth to it. The rest of the tracks off of here sound generic. The Soul genre works with Bruno Mars, since his voice just fits it well. Though when every song sounds like the last one, it comes off as generic and repetitive. Upon a couple relistens, it's actually a lot better than I remember it being. Only issues is the back half being a little boring and Thunder existing still on this project.
My second favorite Imagine Dragons project and the only one that feels the most "Rock" to me. Though the songs from this project is kinda forgettable or the idea is better on future projects. Though all the songs are not skippable, the deluxe versions on the other hand...
This is my most questionable take, though this album actually slaps. Most of the songs are catchy and fun to listen to. It also has better screams on it than all of Mercury. The only track I don't prefer is West Coast. It's so slow and ruins the vibe of the beginning of the album connecting to the back half. I am happy to say this is my favorite Imagine Dragons project.
I actually like this one. Has it's flaws and is not the best piece of Rock ever made. Though it's one of the better Imagine Dragons projects to release. Now the 10 year anniversary demo project is certainly a thing, but this is great.
