The Don & Eye

The Musalini seems like a really talented emcee, and I think he does a fair job here. That said, if you’re going to hop on some absolutely exceptional 9th Wonder beats, you have to bring the best raps you can muster, and I feel like this could have been so much better. Then again, it’s clear this is meant to simply be a laidback record. I’ll have to revisit this because maybe I’m missing something, and it is still a good record considering 9th never misses. For example, “Don Music,” “Tunnel Vision” and “Sincerely” are phenomenal through and through.
