For Granted

Yeah, anyone who’s made jokes about Yaeji taking so long to drop her debut album—myself included—can shut up now. If ‘With a Hammer’ is as consistently good as this new single, “For Granted,” we’re in for a killer first studio record, well worth the wait.

Not only is the song well-produced as is to be expected from the Brooklyn musician, but the the pop structure is also shockingly sharp. It all culminates in some seriously catchy jungle drums washed over with Yaeji’s majestic melodies. Don’t miss this one!
