The best way I could describe this album is ominous. The mysterious atmosphere it creates is fantastic with its drones and glitches throughout which in some cases reminded me of Oneohtrix's latest effort (Particularly tracks 1 & 6). Along with the acoustic guitar and field recordings it's like you're sailing through a maze of fog with dangers and hints of guidance and along the way, reminiscent of the cover art. Really glad I checked this out and I'm sure it will be among my favourite ambient releases this year.
